Overview:

We are currently working on a project that will allow web users to access time-series climate data for any location in the Great Basin. This involves an interactive interface containing various GIS layers and a few tools for navigation and query.

Data:

Climate data available is currently 4x4km gridded data derived from the OSU PRISM dataset. Take the resolution into account when querying data from steep & varied terrain.

Eventually, we will be adding gridded data based on our tree-ring studies. The exact details (such as resolution, time scale, and coverage areas) of this data are not yet determined.

Limitations:

While we are in the development and proof stages, access to multiple users (i.e. concurrent connections) is restricted to a low number. If problems are encountered, it is likely that too many users are connecting at once. "Try back later" applies in this situation, but at least you aren't on hold being subjected to silly music!

Thanks for bearing with us through the testing stages!
